Meeting Kathy

Last Monday, Berenice, my daughter Becky and myself set off on a train journey to a city called Chester to meet an online friend of ours called Kathy. It was a great experience.

Kathy is a member of Bag End poetry board like B(admin) and me(lapsed member) and is from Australia. She is currently on a tour of the U.K. and when we found out she would be as close as she was, we couldn't miss the opportunity.

We met at Chester cathedral and spent a lovely afternoon together. After her visit to Chester, Kathy went on to visit Scotland. I am looking forward to hearing all about her time there.

Here are a few pics of the day. What a lady! It was a pleasure to meet her and be in her company.The well-dressed man Kathy is standing with is the doorman of a rather up-market hotel in Chester. Berenice is in the brown top and Becky the green. I am taking the pics...ha.
